As almost everything in this world "buying" has both: positive and negative side. It depends on a person who acts with this object. The qustion is: is it better to have less but better?
When I was about 12 years old, I read an interview with a chef in a magazine. He talked about how his wife had a preference for cheap-tasting and low-quality desserts, like 7Days croissants. So he took her to Paris. After that trip, she never bought anything like that again. Better to indulge once a year in Paris than eat 7Days every day.
